Hello, my name is Emma and today I’m going to tell you a bit about what I did yesterday and today.
Yesterday, I woke up at 4:30 to get ready to go to school, where we had to meet up with the rest of the group. Once everyone arrived, it was time to take the bus to the airport. Our flight was a bit later than expected, but around noon we finally arrived in Dublin. There were taxis waiting for us to bring us to our host family.
When we arrived, I felt a bit stressed, but in the end it turned into a really good first meeting. The host family is very kind and sweet, and we already feel at home. We settled in and unpacked our bags. After that, we went to a shopping centre to buy some things we forgot at home. There were so many shops.
Later we went back home and took a little nap. Around 7 p.m., it was time for dinner. It was delicious pasta, and I absolutely love pasta. We talked a bit with the host family.
Since I’m talking about them, I’ll tell you who they are: we have a host mom and dad, a daughter, and a toddler. They are all very sweet to us.
After dinner, we went to bed because we were extremely tired.
Today, we woke up at 8:00 because we had a meeting at 9:00. The meeting lasted about an hour and a half and it was very interesting. After the meeting, we quickly stopped by our internship place to test the route and see how to get there by bus, which was actually really helpful.
After that, we got ready to head into the city. We took the bus, and one thing I really like about Dublin is how easy the public transport is to use.
We visited a lot of shops. Around 7 p.m., we met up with our class to have dinner together we went to Wingstop, and it was really good. After dinner, we took the bus back to the city to visit even more shops and to buy some drinks. We walked a lot through Dublin today, and it was so much fun.
Around 10 p.m., we took the bus back home because we were all very tired. Once we arrived, we unloaded our stuff, and then it was time to sleep.
