Day 1 -February 17th 2025

Today, I went to Dublin because I live outside the city. Since I will start my internship in the city center soon, I wanted to check where exactly it is so that I don’t get lost on my first day.
In the morning, I took the bus to Dublin. The journey took some time, but I enjoyed looking out the window and getting to know the city better. The streets were busy, and I saw many shops, restaurants, and offices along the way.
When I arrived in the center, I immediately started looking for my internship place. Luckily, I found it without any problems. It was nice to see the building in real life and to get an idea of the area around it. There were a lot of cafés and shops nearby, which will be useful during my breaks.

After finding my internship location, I felt hungry. I met up with some friends, and we decided to have lunch together in a restaurant. The food was really good, and we had a great time talking. It’s always nice to spend time with friends, especially in a new city. We talked about our plans for the weekend and shared our first impressions of Dublin.

Later in the afternoon, we wanted to do something fun, so we went to the seaside. The weather was nice but a bit windy. We walked along the beach, enjoying the fresh air and the sound of the waves. I didn’t go swimming because the water was too cold, but we did visit a lighthouse. From the top, we had an amazing view of the sea and the coastline. It was a peaceful and relaxing experience.

After this nice day, I took the bus back home. I was quite tired but also happy that I found my internship location and had a fun time with my friends. Now, I feel more prepared for my first real day at the internship. I am excited and curious to see what it will be like!
