Day 10 - March 3rd 2026

Today was a normal but good day for me in Dublin.

In the morning I started work like usual. First I checked the working hours in the company app to see if everything was correct. After that I helped a bit with HR tasks. I looked at different CVs and profiles of people who want to work in the hotel. I tried to see who could be the best for the job. I also asked them some more questions about their experience and why they want to work here. This helped me understand them better. I also checked if everyone has a European ID or passport, because this is necessary to work in the hotel. It was interesting to do something different than my normal tasks.

After work I went to the city centre. The streets were busy and there were many people outside. I like the atmosphere here because it feels alive. Sometimes you hear music in the streets and see tourists everywhere.

In the evening I went to eat in a place where you can choose many different types of food. There was a lot of diversity, so everyone could pick what they wanted. I think this is nice because not everyone likes the same food. While we were there, we met some students from America. We started talking and they were very friendly. We spoke about our studies and about living in Ireland. It is funny how you can meet people from other countries so easily here.

So today was a mix of work and free time. I learned more about how HR works, but I also enjoyed my time in the city. I feel more comfortable every day in Dublin and I am happy to have this experience.
