Day 12 - Februari 28th 2025

Bye bye Dublin

Today was one of the hardest days to get out of bed, and why? Because it was our last day in Dublin but at least we tried to make the most of it.

My morning started as any other. I ate breakfast, got ready and waited for Matteo. We went to work together for our last workday. At work we couldn’t really do much so what I did was finish what Mark Kelly asked me to do and that’s to just finish up the VettaHire website. We stopped work earlier because we had a meeting with ADC college. So after saying goodbye to Mark and finishing up some stuff we met up with some friends in a Starbucks and together we joined the meeting. After the meeting we walked around city for the last time. I was a little nah not really I was super hungry so, please don’t judge me, I first ate a cookies and cream doughnut from rolling donuts and after that went to the McDonalds to get the euh something Japanese crispy chicken wrap which was sooo good, they don’t have that in Belgium I don’t know why though. ( I am going to miss those wraps) after that we just waited for Lennert and the rest to arrive, so we could all go out one last time. It was Ewoud’s birthday so we decided to go eat something first we thought of going to a restaurant but that didn’t happen instead we went to a place to get pizzas.

I can tell you that I was really tired and I mean really really tired, I literally fell asleep everywhere; on the sidewalk, on the side of a wall next to the park and on the bus…

I was lucky to have my friends with me, they took good care of me. They only had to keep me awake but still thanks :D

When we (some of us) went back home we tried to sleep even though we could for only 1 hour. We got all our stuff and waited for the taxi. But first we had to give Maria and Ray a gift for taking good care of us, a box with chocolates it was truly amazing to stay with them. I am really going to miss them, it was really hard to say goodbye. And so my last day ended.
