Day 12 - March 5th 2026

My day started very well today. I had slept well and felt energetic when I woke up. I was also excited because we will be going home soon, which gave me some extra motivation to start the day.

Around 7:45, I started getting ready to go to my internship. After I had everything prepared, I left for the shop. When I arrived, I first started by opening the store so everything was ready for the workday.

After that, I immediately started working on an old laptop that was still functioning. The laptop could still be used, but it needed a small upgrade. I added extra RAM and replaced the old SSD with another one. After upgrading the hardware, I installed Windows 10 so the laptop would be fully usable again. It is always nice to see that an older laptop works well again after an upgrade.

Later that day, two new MacBooks arrived. These still had to be set up before they could be used. I unpacked them and completed the first setup steps so they would be ready for use.

Not much later, two new Lenovo laptops arrived as well. Windows 11 had to be installed on them. After the installation was finished, I configured the laptops and made sure everything was working properly. I then performed the Windows updates so the systems were fully up to date. I also installed additional updates through Lenovo Vantage.

Before I knew it, it was already 5:00 PM and my workday was over. I still had to wait about fifteen minutes for my bus to go back to my host family.

After a bus ride of about 40 minutes, I arrived at my host family’s house. First, I went to my room to work on my internship report. Afterwards, I had dinner and talked a bit with the host family. Around 8:00 PM, I went back to my room, called my mom for a while, and then went to sleep.
