Day 12 - March 5th 2026

I woke up in the morning and got ready for the day. After finishing my morning routine, I left for my internship with my roommate. We took the same bus at first, but when I got off I still had to walk for about 20 more minutes to reach my work place.

When I arrived my supervisor was very busy, so I spent most of the day working alone. It was quiet and slow. I also noticed a new person working there. I think she just started because I had never seen her before and she was always around someone that does work there.

During my lunch break, I went outside to buy some food. I went to a Spar. I also went to Oxfam Books. I bought five books for 20 euros.

I finished at 16:30. I waited for the bus to go to my host family, but it came late, and the weather was freezing cold. The first bus that came was completely full so the driver did not allow anyone on. I had to wait outside in the cold for a longer time. The second bus that came was also crowded, but this time we were allowed to get on. Later, I had to transfer to another bus. On this one, the guy next to me and the two guys in front of me were falling asleep. They guy next tom me had very long legs and he was manspreading which was annoying and uncomfortable.

I arrived late at my host family’s house because of traffic. I had planned to go to the Omni shopping centre, but it was already dark by then.

For dinner we ate pasta which was delicious. My roommate was very sick, so she didn’t eat much. After dinner we cleaned up our room. I also started packing the things I wouldn’t need for the next few days.
