Day 2 - Februari 24th 2026

Today was my first day of my internship. I felt nervous because everything was new for me. In the morning, my bus was delayed, so I arrived about fifteen minutes late. I was stressed, but I explained the situation and quickly started working.

I helped during the breakfast buffet in the hotel. My main task was clearing the tables after guests finished eating. I removed plates, glasses, and cutlery and made sure the tables were clean for the next guests. I had to work fast but also carefully. Sometimes it was busy, so I needed to look around and see which tables needed to be cleaned first.

I worked with two other interns. They were two girls from France. We helped each other, especially during busy moments. This made me feel more comfortable on my first day. I was still a little nervous, but I tried to do my best and stay active.

After breakfast, we cleaned everything. We cleaned all the tables again, the buffet area, and the floor. When we finished, we were allowed to eat some food that was left from the buffet for lunch. After that, we helped with the checked-out rooms. We removed the bed sheets and put the towels at the door for the cleaning staff.

I finished earlier because all the work was done. After work, I took the bus to the city center and walked around in some shops. Later, I met my friend Fay and we went to the city together. We looked in different stores and ate a poké bowl because we were hungry. At the end of the day, we were very tired and took the bus home.
