Day 2 - Februari 24th 2026

Today I woke up early at 7 a.m. and got ready for work. At a quarter past 8, Adil and I left the house because we work about 10 minutes from each other, and I start half an hour later than Adil. We took bus 38 and first head toward his workplace, the Premier Inn Hotel. His colleagues were very friendly and happy to see us. Then I left Adil to walk to my own workplace.

I arrived at a kind of hotel for businesses; it is very beautiful here. I spoke to a woman who works there and asked where I needed to be. She pointed to a desk and told me to wait there, saying she would be back shortly. A few minutes later, she returned with a book and a notepad. She told me that I had to read the entire book and choose two chapters from it. I then had to summarize those two chapters on a sheet of paper and write a conclusion explaining why I preferred one over the other.

At 12 o’clock, I took a one-hour break and went to visit Adil in the afternoon. He liked it there, and he also had colleagues who spoke French, which helped him get along well. I sat outside for a while and then went back to work.

Until the end of the day, I kept reading the book, and then I was allowed to leave half an hour earlier. I went home together with Raphael and Adil, and we took bus 37.

When we got home, we got ready to go out for dinner. Marwa chose a really great restaurant in the city. I was there with my group (Adil, Raphael, and Jegor), as well as Amina and Marwa.

After dinner, we walked around the city for a while, and then we went home because it became very cold. At home, we took showers and then went to sleep comfortably.
