Day 2 - February 18th 2025

Starting an internship is always an exciting yet nerve-wracking experience, and my first day at a real estate company in Dublin was no exception. As I walked into the office, I felt a mix of anticipation and curiosity, eager to learn about the industry and gain practical experience.

The day began with a warm welcome from the team. My supervisor introduced me to my colleagues, who were all friendly and willing to help. They gave me a quick tour of the office, explaining the different departments and how they work together to facilitate property transactions. The modern and dynamic work environment immediately made me feel at ease.

After settling in, I received an overview of the company’s operations, including property sales, rentals, and client relations. I was assigned my first task: assisting with market research and updating property listings. It was fascinating to see how much detail goes into each listing and how market trends influence property values.

One of the highlights of my day was attending a client meeting. I observed how experienced professionals interact with clients, negotiate deals, and provide insights on property investments. This firsthand experience gave me a clearer understanding of the skills required in the industry.

As the day came to an end, I reflected on everything I had learned. My first day was filled with new experiences, helpful colleagues, and a glimpse into the fast-paced world of real estate. I’m excited to continue this journey, develop my skills, and contribute to the team.

Dublin’s real estate market is vibrant and ever-changing, and I feel fortunate to be part of it. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead in this internship!
