Today, I woke up at 8 o'clock in the morning. After getting ready for work, I took my first bus, followed by my second. Despite the traffic jams on the road, I managed to arrive on time. Upon my arrival, my supervisor was already in the office and welcomed me warmly.
I was ready to continue my learning within the company. She quickly assigned me a task: preparing bags for clients. These bags were filled with various goodies such as company-colored pens, professional business cards, and personalized notepads. Once this first task was completed, my supervisor presented me with several ideas for visual content to create on Canva, an online graphic design tool. With my computer ready, I plunged into the creation process by implementing the discussed concepts. I designed a series of attractive designs, including engaging posts inviting customers to guess hidden words, all related to Ireland and specifically to St. Patrick, which was being celebrated that week.
During the lunch break, I decided to try a fast-food restaurant that I had never tried before: Supermac’s. The meal was rather good but a bit expensive. After the break, I returned to work. And that's how my second day of internship ended.
This experience not only allowed me to put my design skills into practice but also offered me the opportunity to learn more about Irish culture and traditions, significantly enriching my professional experience.
In the early evening, I went to the city center to do some shopping, then I returned home, ate, and rested in my room.
