Day 3 - Februari 25th 2026

Today started pretty early for me. I woke up around 7 so I could slowly get ready to leave for work without rushing too much. I like taking my time in the morning because it helps me wake up properly. Around 8:30 I had breakfast, which was just a bowl of cornflakes. Nothing special, but it does the job and gives me enough energy to start the day.

At 9:15 I took the bus to 102a Cork Street, where my internship is. Once I arrived, I got straight to work. The first thing I tried to do today was a clean install of Windows 11 on a computer. Sadly, it didn’t work because there was a problem with the hard drive, so that was a bit annoying. After that, it was time for our break. I went with one of my colleagues to Aldi to get something to eat for lunch. It was nice to get out for a bit and just chill.

When the break was over, I checked a gaming PC from a customer that wouldn’t start up. After looking inside, I noticed that not all the components were properly installed, which explained the problem. Later on, I also helped a few customers with smaller issues, and before I knew it, my workday was already finished.

After work, I went back to my host family’s house, ate something, and then headed back to the city centre to meet some friends. We went for a drink and ended up in Temple Bar, which is one of the oldest and most famous bars in Dublin. It was a really fun night. In the end, we took an Uber back to the host family. Overall, it was a long but really good day.
