Day 3 - February 8th 2023

My day started at 06:30, Britte and I needed some time to wake up. It was so cold but we made it to breakfast.

After breakfast we got ourself ready, we had to hurry up because we were going to miss our bus but out of nowhere the best thing ever happened; another bus stopped right in front of us.
We got to the centre earlier and saved our feet from the long walk to the bus stop.
Once we were in the centre, I took the luas and got right on time on my workplace.

I got greeted by the friendly staff members and went with the HR manager to one of the meeting rooms, he explained how the hotel works and gave me my tasks. There were little tasks, bigger tasks and I got some lunch in between.
They served an amazing meal and everyone was laughing, talking and they made me feel part of the team.

Once lunch was over, the HR manager gave me some time to finish what I was doing and then he asked if I wanted to join their meeting. I said yes, because you don’t get to attend a meeting everyday, and I’m glad I did. I saw a side that you normally don’t get to see, and now I really understand how much respect these people really deserve.
They really try their best and they try to improve on every little detail.

After the meeting was done, the HR manager told me that I could go home.
So once I was outside I called some friends and we got together. We walked, talked, laughed and shared some work stories. It was very very fun!
We walked around and I discovered some cute places that I can go to when I want to eat something or buy something so one of these days I’ll probably do some sightseeing around the city soon.
I was very happy about today because I didn’t have to walk around on heels all day.

Around 18:00 I went back home, I wanted to see if everyone was okay and I wanted to call with my parents and some friends so I hurried home.
Once I was home I had to eat, so in the kitchen there was a meal waiting for me… Let’s just say it was a weird combination; some fries, corn and a sausage roll.
I had some complaints about it so I just talked about it in the group chat. I was laughing so hard because everyone else was laughing at my dinner.
I have done nothing else this evening, just chilling in my room and spending time on the phone. All by all, it was a fun day at work and outside of it and I can’t wait until tomorrow!
