Day 3 - March 13th 2024

Today I woke up at 6.20 am and started to get ready for work. I didn’t have time to have a proper breakfast, so I took a donut with me for on the way. I arrived at my busstop at 7.25 am and got on the bus around 7.34. I got off that bus at University College Dublin. There I waited for 7 minutes to take the S4 bus. I got off after 3 minutes and started walking to my workplace. I arrived there at 8.48 am.

After my supervisor arrived, I got to work. She had to leave for a meeting at 10.10 am so I was left to take phone calls until 12.40 pm. After she came back, she gave me enough tasks for the rest of the day. We did go for lunch at 1.45pm, had a nice meal and chatted a little bit. At 2pm, we got back and started working again. Before I knew it, it was 4pm. Annie (one of my supervisors) told me it was time for me to go and said goodbye for the day.

At 4.21 I had a bus to get home with. I transfered to the S6 bus, which I always take in the morning, to get back to my host family. I arrived there around 5.30pm. After I got home, I freshened up a bit and went to a store called “Dealz” by bus. I bought some snacks and some clothes there since it was a nice yet cheaper store. I also got a little you gift for my host mom Julia there.

Eventually I got back home at 7.15pm which was just in time for dinner. We ate some fries with a burger-like sandwich and some salads. I really enjoyed the meal! After dinner I went up to the room which Marie and I stay in. We talked there a bit before chilling in bed.

Now I’m writing this blog while sitting in bed. I had a very nice day but hope it’ll be less rainy tomorrow!
