Fasting with Elias

Today marked a simple yet disciplined beginning as I rose at 4:30 to have a quick meal before sunrise, considering my fasting routine.

After a short nap around 5 a.m., I got up at 7:30, got ready, and caught the 8:17 bus to work.
Surprisingly, I found myself at the workplace 30 minutes ahead of schedule, allowing me some extra time.
uring this spare time, I occupied myself with my phone until 10, when my workday officially began.

My task involved working in a database, checking and ensuring the accuracy of customer information. It was a bit repetitive, and after about 6 hours, it started to feel a bit monotonous. Deciding to skip a traditional midday break, I opted to take it at 16:00, allowing me to leave work an hour earlier. This decision was influenced by the fasting constraints, as taking a break earlier in the day would mean not being able to eat.

I hopped on the bus to Sword, took a little break, and eagerly waited for 18:28 to break my fast.
Later in the evening, I visited the mosque for Taraweeh, a special night prayer observed during the month of Ramadan. After that, I headed home, had a simple meal, and went to bed early, ready to repeat this routine tomorrow. The night offered a peaceful sleep, promising a fresh start to another day structured by fasting and simple daily rituals.
