My day started early this morning. I woke up at 6:20 a.m. and asked Davy if he was awake, but it turned out he already was. Not long after that, I fell back asleep without realizing it. Luckily, Davy woke me up again at 6:50 a.m. so we could go and have breakfast. I wasn’t very hungry, so I chose something light and ate a bowl of cornflakes. After breakfast, Davy left to go to work, and I went back to my room to get ready for the day.

Once I was ready, I went outside together with Vojta, another student who is from the Czech Republic. We walked together for a short while, but eventually we took different buses from different bus stops, so we went our separate ways. I continued my journey by bus towards Malahide. The bus ride took quite some time because there was traffic on the way, but I didn’t really mind. It gave me some time to relax and think about the day ahead.

When I arrived in Malahide, I went to the train station to catch my train. Unfortunately, the train was delayed, and I had to wait for about 20 minutes. After the wait, I finally got on the train and arrived in Balbriggan at around 9:30 a.m. Since I was not fasting that day, I decided to go to a coffee shop. I ordered an iced coffee and a brownie to help me wake up mentally. After eating the brownie, I went to the coast to enjoy the view of the sea while waiting. It was peaceful and refreshing to take a moment to appreciate the surroundings.

After that, I went to the shop where I work and started my shift. I waited for customers and helped several people with documents and other tasks. I also fixed a laptop, which made me feel productive and useful. When my workday was over, I took the train and bus back home.

When I arrived, Davy had already taken a shower, so I went straight into the bathroom myself. Afterwards, I felt thirsty and wanted some sweets, so we decided to go to Tesco. On the way back, we realized that dinner was already ready, so we hurried home. We ate wraps together, and after that, we went to our room to talk about our day and everything we experienced. It was a long but satisfying day, both at work and outside of it.
