Day 5 – Februari 21st 2025

I woke up at 6 AM like i usually do and got ready as soon as i woke up so that I can make my lunch and eat my breakfast before I leave the house at 6.50 AM. I have to walk 10 minutes to get to my bus stop. It was raining in the morning and the wind was blowing. I take my bus at 7.10 AM every day till Parkway Station and wait for the DART to Conolly. In Conolly I have to take a second DART to Malahide and then walk for about 3 minutes to get to my work place.

I started work at 9 AM and had to finish the welcome packs for the students that are arriving next week, but everything was done already. So me and the other interns only had one task and that was packing up the certificates for the students that were leaving today. When that was done we had to prepare the coffee break for the adult students that started at 10.45 AM and had to clean up after them when it ended at 11. After that we were free till 12 PM and were told we could go home. So that’s what I did.

On my way back I stopped at Blanchardstown Shopping Center to buy a jacket and a smaller bag for when I go out. I also went to go and eat an ice cream in the mall as I was a bit hungry.

When I got home at around 3 PM I was locked outside for a good hour because no one was opening the door. All I wanted to do was take a nap and be inside. But I had to wait. The son of our host opened up the door for me after an hour of waiting so I was a bit pissed.

Tiffany and I ate pasta in the evening at around 6.30 PM. It was really good but I could not tell you what kind of pasta dish it was. It was a sort of carbonara I think.

After dinner we had to get ready to leave the house to go and meet friends. We left the house at around 9 PM and took the bus to City Centre. It took us 50 min to get there. Before we joined the others we went to explore Temple Bar and the souvenir shops in Temple Bar as well. We got some ice creams as well at McDonalds as well.

We joined the group at around 10.30 ish PM and went to get some drinks at the pub we went to on wednesday. After that we explored the city to look at all the different kinds of pubs they had in the city.

We left City Centre at 1AM and got home at around 2. It was a great day.
