Day 5 – Februari 21st 2025

We had 10 minutes to wash up. I washed first and had breakfast while they washed. We got out at 8:00 AM. We took the train to Tara Street. There were not a lot of people, so it was nice. Then we walked a bit, and one of us needed to take the bus to go to work, so we said bye, and my other friend and I took the Red Line at Abbey Street till Kylemore Road. It took about 40 minutes.

Our work is an 8-minute walking distance from the stop. We arrived at 9:45 AM. We were the first, so we opened the door, and at 9:55 AM, the other interns began to arrive. We worked for a bit, then at 12:00 PM, we took a break and bought a couple of ramen to eat. They were, like always, really delicious. Then at 3:45 PM, our teacher arrived because he had a meeting with our supervisor to see if everything was going alright. We talked a bit, then the supervisor arrived at 4:00 PM. After they were done, we said goodbye to our teacher, and he went out.

We stayed a bit longer than usual because we had a little meeting with the supervisor from 6:00 PM till 7:00 PM. Normally, we get out at 3:00 PM and wait for our friend at Tara Street to go home together or visit a bit more of Dublin, but we said that we needed to stay a little late, so he got home before us. After the meeting, we then took the Red Line back to Abbey Street and the train from Tara Street back home.

Because it was Friday, we had arranged with some friends to go out. So when we got home, we ate and prepared ourselves to go out. We washed ourselves, and at 9:30 PM, we got out to meet our friend. They were waiting at Tara Street for us. We arrived there at 10:10 PM. We first went to McDonald's, and then we went to get some drinks. After that, we wanted to go to a nightclub, but one of us wasn’t 18 yet, so he couldn’t go in. We didn’t want to leave him alone, so we didn’t go in.

After a bit, we split up. Some needed to go home because it was already 12:00 AM, and some didn’t want to go into another nightclub that we saw. So we went in with three people. The music was nice, and it had a balcony. The atmosphere was good. At 1:36 AM, we got out and met the others who were waiting for us, and we went home. We needed to take the bus back home because there weren’t any trains left. My roommate and I arrived at 3:54 AM. I got on my phone for a bit, then I went to sleep. So that was my day.
