Day 5 - March 15th 2024

Today, I woke up super early at 4:20 in the morning because I needed to eat before starting my fast for Ramadan. I had three yummy dates and a banana for breakfast, and I drank lots of water to stay healthy. Then, I woke up again at 7:20 to get ready for work.

I hopped on the bus at 7:54, and it dropped me off really close to where I work. When I got there, I started doing my job just like I always do. They said I could leave early because St. Patrick's Day was coming soon, so I left work at 1 p.m. I got home at 2:52 PM.

Outside, the weather was lovely, with the sun shining bright in the sky. It made me think of the saying, "after the rain, comes sunshine." But even though it looked happy outside, I felt a little bit sad. I had hoped my internship would be really awesome, but it wasn't as great as I thought it would be.

But, I'm excited for March 23rd because that's when I get to go back home.
Overall, it was a day filled with waking up early, going to work, and feeling hopeful about the future.
