Day 5

I woke up at seven in the morning, made my bed, and got ready to leave the house. I don’t like having a big breakfast, so I just made instant coffee and warmed a cinnamon roll from Aldi.

I left the house at 7:30 a.m. because the bus comes at 7:40. I got to my workplace at 9:50 and started work at 10 a.m. Today I had to sort documents in the morning. Around 11 p.m., my supervisor brought us cappuccinos while my coworker and I worked, and after that, he gave us his card to get lunch. We had some ramen from Wagamama.

At 2 p.m., we resumed work with a new task, which was to send letters via post. After sending the letters, I started putting account (bank) statements into Excel. Before leaving work, my supervisor explained what tasks I would be doing next week because he would be leaving for work in New York.

When we have lunch at work, we have permission to leave early at 3:30 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m. I met up with Gloria near my workplace, and we walked around Dublin for a bit. We visited Trinity College and some shopping centres. I ended up buying skincare products here because they’re cheaper than in Belgium.

On our way home, we had corn dogs, which were so good. We then took bus 26 home. When we got home, we ate lasagna and went to our rooms. Since it was still too early, I talked to my family a little bit and after I decided to watch a film on my laptop. Around 10 p.m., I played Free Fire on my phone before going to bed.
