Today started with a tough morning. I awoke around 5 am with a nasty cough and pain in my chest. Despite the discomfort, I had to wait until 6.30am, my usual time to get up, before I could prepare for another day at ADC College.
After my breakfast, I made my way to Kilbarrack train station to catch my first train. After travelling for half an hour, I reached Connolly Station, where I was able to catch my second train to the ADC College location after a short wait of about 10 minutes.
On arrival, I immediately noticed that the wifi was still not working. At first, this was not too inconvenient. After all, I could join other Flemish students attending an information session there. Moreover, I overcame a personal fear by talking to a female fellow student. I even managed to utter more than one sentence and look her straight in the eye while speaking. That felt like a personal victory that I am proud of.
After setting up a hotspot and connecting, I started my research on using generative AI in Microsoft Azure and how to implement it via an API. I learnt a lot from this.
Eventually, it was soon 3 o'clock and I was able to leave for home.
