Day 7 - March 20th 2024

Hi people! We have finally arrived at week 2 of our internship, and today is day 11, just 3 days before returning to Belgium! I'm actually so excited to leave and to be in my cozy bed.

Today is a lazy day, so I decided to wear a hoodie along with Marie. Don't worry, I was wearing decent pants. At the internship, I continued with my tasks; it's basically the same task every day, which can be quite boring, but it's almost done. I still have to make it through this week.

Yesterday, I went to this incredible halal restaurant to break my fast. It was so good and filled my belly nicely. I also had dessert to treat myself a little, and it was also incredible!

I'm still grateful because they allowed me to keep my hijab on during my internships. I was so stressed about my internships because of my hijab; I would never imagine taking it off at work. That sucks and it breaks my heart because I have to do it at school, but not here, so I'm a little happy.

I didn’t do much today, but I went to this beautiful mosque, it was so peacefull and I felt relaxed, then I just went home and continued to eat before the sun comes up.

Oh, and the public transport here is a little more complicated than in Belgium. Sometimes, you can get lost quickly, so you have to look carefully at the numbers and destinations before going somewhere.

We complain about the people in Belgium, but here in Dublin, there's also a lot t complain about. People here can be very weird and look at you like you're a stranger.

One last thing, be careful and don't go out alone at night, or just avoid going out in general at night; there are a lot of strange people running around the streets.
