Day 8 - Februari 24th 2025

Today, I started by getting a bit late out of bed and sprinting down the stairs so that I could still have breakfast before I needed to leave. I didn’t get a chance to shower because only 1 guy at a time could and everyone else was before me.

The day got even worse when my 1st bus was late and because of that, I missed my 2nd bus. I only arrived at my job on 9:27 and my shift starts at 9:30.

At least my job itself was better, first I got to collect a briefcase as from another department. After that I got to learn to use a new kind of database that I’ve never used before.

After my work was done I got on bus N2 and after that one 16 to get back to the host.

I didn’t immediatly got to go in because some electrician was working in our room.

I also didn’t wanna go to the mall because I already spent € 500 in Dublin and wanted to keep some of the original € 600 I got from my parents. I just waited outside at the door with Sybrand (my roommate). I wrote this blog before we got to eat.

Hopefully this last week passes quickly because I start to mis my parents and pets.
