Day 8 - Februari 24th 2025

Today started a bit later than usual. I woke up at 7:20 AM which is later than normal because I forgot to set my alarm. I quickly got dressed and went downstairs to eat my breakfast. As always, I had two pieces of toast with jam. After eating I brushed my teeth and rushed to the bus stop.

On my way there I suddenly thought I forgot my bus card I was already walking back home when I decided to check my bag, and there it was. So, I had to run to catch the bus but luckily, I made it just in time. The bus was already almost full but I found a seat next to an old lady.

I arrived at work at 9:20 AM and started working on my task from Friday. I had to check documents, see if any were missing, and sometimes open the door for customers or accept package. At one point there was a miscommunication with a customer but I just asked my colleague for help and everything was fine.

For lunch, I went to Subway and got a chicken breast sandwich. It cost €8 which was a bit expensive but it was really good.

I finished work at 4:00 PM, but we weren’t allowed to go home until 5:30 PM. So, I decided to go to the city and wait for Simon, but he was still 30 minutes away. To pass the time, I went to Burger King and got two cheeseburgers while watching Netflix on my phone.

After half an hour, Simon finally arrived, but he just wanted to go home. So, we took the bus back. In the evening, we ate chicken curry at home at least I think that’s what it was
