Day 8 - Februari 24th 2025

Today, I had to work at my company. The day started as usual, with tasks that kept me busy throughout the shift. It wasn’t too stressful, but it was a long day, and by the time work was over, I was ready to unwind. Luckily, I had already made plans with some friends, so right after work, we decided to hang out and take a walk through the city. The weather was nice, and it felt good to just relax and talk after a day of working.

After spending some time walking around and chatting, we met up with everyone to go for pizza at Pizza Hut. Everyone was in a good mood, and the atmosphere was great. We all joked around, talked about random things, and just enjoyed the food. It was really nice to catch up properly. The pizza was, as always, a great choice, and we stayed there for a while, just enjoying the moment.

Later in the evening, we decided to go to an arcade that was close to where Lennert, Nathen, and Ewoud’s family lives. The arcade was a blast we did some bowling and pooling. It got pretty fun and we where laughing a lot, but that only made it more fun. Time flew by while we were there, and before we knew it, it was getting late.

Since we had about a 1.5-hour journey back home, we knew it would be a late night. The trip back was long, but we were still in a good mood from the evening. We found a ball before we came on to the bus and we started throwing it around really hard at each other. Sometimes we hit other people and the ball was flying all around the bus sometimes. There was also one very chill guy who sometimes also threw the ball when it was passed or thrown to him. By the time we got home, it was pretty late, but it was definitely worth it. It was one of those days that felt spontaneous but ended up being a lot of fun.
