Day 9 - March 22nd 2024

Today was the last internship day and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences that I have had.
The day started for me at 7:00. We got ready for the day and left at 7:50, this was a bit late so we had to keep a good pace.

At about 9:00 we arrived in town. First I walked around with Wout again and at 9:50 we each went to work for the last time. Today I had to upload information of states in America on the site of Sey Tax itself, this information I had to look up the day before. Here I was busy for a whole day. I really enjoyed the day because I had a lot of variety in my work. There were many things to do that I could still work on before the last day. Saying goodbye to the staff was a bit less fun because everyone was very nice to work with.

When I left I immediately joined Wout, Joannes, Thijs and Jerko who were waiting for me in a café in the mall where Wout works. After a few minutes, Nina, Kyllian and Vico also arrived. There we followed the meeting for 15-20 minutes and then went to McDonalds for the last time.

When we finished eating, we had a chat and then left to go home. When we arrived by bus, we went to Romayo's, which is a fast food restaurant very close to where our host family lives. And then we walked home to eat it at home. I found this a very nice experience and would definitely do this again if I get the chance.

It was a very informative internship and was very nice to learn English, I was able to see a lot of the culture they have here and already experienced that the accent is very weird but after a few days you get used to it.
