A Day in Traicy’s Life in Dublin
Last night, I went out with some friends until really late. We also met some new people who were American, and they were pretty fun to hang out with. By the time I got home, I only had enough time to get ready for work and leave again.
In the morning, I took the bus with Mirabela, but I fell asleep. She just left me on the bus alone . It wasn’t that big of a deal though, because I woke up just in time to get off at the right stop.
At work, I was feeling tired, but luckily my friend was there — an Austrian girl who is also doing an internship. In the morning, there weren’t many people, which was surprising, so we went on our break early. After our first break, we did some cleaning. At noon, we had our second break and I ordered pasta from the staff menu. After eating around 1 pm, we were allowed to leave — that’s definitely the best part of my job.
After work, I immediately took the bus home. When I arrived around 3 pm, I fell asleep again. When I woke up, Cindy (our host mom) was in our room talking to Mirabela. She told me that Mirabela didn’t wake me up to go eat with her, so I felt a bit betrayed, but I still went downstairs to eat with Cindy. I really enjoy talking to her.
That was pretty much my day. Thank you for reading, and I’ll see you again on Friday!
