Day 9 - March 2nd 2026

Today I woke up around 7 so I had enough time to slowly get ready for work. I don’t really like rushing in the morning, so I prefer taking my time to wake up and get dressed. Around 8:30 I had breakfast, which was again just a bowl of cornflakes. It’s nothing fancy but it’s quick and easy before leaving.

At 9:15 I took the bus to go to my internship. When I arrived the first thing I worked on was trying to do a clean install of Windows 11 on a computer that had some problems. The installation didn’t really work like it should. After trying a few things we realised there was probably something wrong with the hard drive, which made the installation fail. That was a bit annoying but at least we knew what the problem was.

After that it was already time for our break. Me and one of my colleagues walked to Aldi to buy something small to eat for lunch. I got a piece of pizza, it was quite good.

When we came back from the break I helped with a few different things in the shop. I mostly helped some customers who came in with problems with their computers. One computer was really slow so we had to check what was causing it. I also helped moving some equipment and cleaning up a few things in the workspace. It wasn’t super difficult work but it kept me busy for the rest of the afternoon. Before I knew it the work day was already finished.

In the evening I first went back to the host family and chilled there for a bit. After that I went to the city with Jonathan, Eden and Irene because we were all pretty hungry. We decided to grab something to eat at McDonald’s. We just ate some burgers and talked about random stuff for a while. When we finished eating we walked around the city a little bit and then everyone started heading back. It wasn’t anything crazy but it was still a nice way to end the day.
