A great experience

My day started with a bit of hassle when I discovered that the trams were not running. I was so looking forward to a quiet ride to work, but unfortunately public transport threw a spanner in the works. Fortunately, I am not easily discouraged and decided to continue my travel adventure. With a little improvisation and perseverance, I eventually found an alternative way to get to work. It felt like a small victory!

Today a new intern started at my hotel, her name is Laura. She is from Eeklo and she was very relieved when she heard that I also spoke Dutch. I had to explain everything to her at work, from how the kitchen works to the explanation about Irish night. I hope we get along well because she really looked like a nice girl to me.

After a busy morning at work I was looking forward to some relaxation and adventure. I decided to do the beautiful cliff walk of Howth. The cliffs were breathtaking and the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks gave me a feeling of peace and serenity. It was like I was completely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I felt at one with nature as I walked the winding paths and enjoyed the spectacular views of the ocean. It was an experience I will never forget.

Looking back on the day I realized it was actually a holiday and I didn't have to work. What a pleasant surprise! I thoroughly enjoyed the walk. It gave me the freedom to really be in the moment and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I took the time to relax. It was a well-deserved break from the daily grind.

After the walk I took 2 buses home and after a long time I arrived home. Finally home, I thought to myself. But what a day, one not to forget.
