Weekend activity

Today started very early, at 4 am. I needed to go to the bathroom, so I went downstairs. When I came back upstairs to go back to bed, Joannes (who sleeps in the room with me) sat upright in his bed scaring me to death. After this we both went back to bed.

I actually woke up at 8 am. As usual we get ready and go downstairs to have breakfast. At 10 am we got to the bus stop to head to the city. The bus ride takes about an hour so we arrived at around 11 am.

The first thing we did when we got to the city was going to the workplace of Wout because he needed to buy something from there. We met up with Kyllian, Jerko and Nina at the shopping center where Wout works. Secondly, we went to a souvenir shop nearby to get some things to remind us of the trip and for me to give to my dad whose birthday was yesterday.

After this we went to look for something to eat. Eventually we ended up eating at Supermac’s where I paid too much because of a misunderstanding.

Now it is around 1 pm and time to head to the place where everyone met up for the required activity. So, we went to the place and started the activity in our group of four including me, Vico, Wout and Luka. We went through the city looking for names of certain logos we had been given and for certain landmarks where we needed to do like a pose, or a movement related to the landmark. Finally, after about an hour or two we ended up in Trinity College, a very good-looking place. Sadly, we didn’t win but this didn’t ruin our day.

After the activity we went to a store because one of us wanted to buy something there. Now at this point I got very nervous because it was time to go to the barber. All of us were tired of my haircut and there needed to be a change. We went looking for a good barber and after like 15 minutes we found a good-looking spot. Me, Vico and Kyllian headed in and explained the situation to the barber, he gave a few suggestions and after a bit of waiting he got to work. At some points I thought it wasn’t going great but eventually it was a very good choice. Me and my friends were happy with how it turned out since I have never had a different haircut and it only cost me 25 euros.

At this point it was already pretty late, so we went to the shopping center again where me and Luka parted from the group to head home. When we arrive at the bus stop Vico calls us and tells us he is coming with us too. We could’ve predicted this, but Vico got lost and we had to wait another 30 minutes on a bus.

Anyways at around 9 pm we get to the bus stop home where we eat and then walk further to our actual home. Lastly, I took a shower and now I am here writing my blogpost at 10:30.

We will probably rest in our bed for a while and then go to sleep after an eventful Saturday.
